Brand Purpose

Witzig is a fun and unique pet care brand specifically for Dachshunds. Owners can enjoy a specialized experience with content and products to celebrate the breed.

Project

We worked with the Fetchery to create a brand identity that engages Dachshund owners in a new way by highlighting the breed’s eccentricity, wit and charm. We played with the iconic shape to inform our design choices to keep a lighthearted joyful spirit of play and connection tied throughout.

Strategy

We focused all branding around the idea of “The lovable misfit,” inspired by the Dachshund’s wit and eccentricity. The logo incorporates the Dachshund’s iconic shape in the “g” of Witzig. Our color and design choices pay homage to the Dachshund’s quirky nature, while creating a joyful spirit of play and connection tied throughout.

Audience Need

Dachshund owners want to learn more tips for training and caring for their favorite breed. Having a specially curated platform and brand allows owners to feel proud and connected to other Dachshund lovers, while discovering fun products.
