The Art
of Paper

“What gunpowder did for war the printing press has done for the mind”

-Wendell Phillips

Print is Alive.

Last week, a few of us took to the streets to check out this years ADC Paper Expo. Every year, ADC hosts a premier paper and printing event in New York City as an opportunity for professionals to meet with leading paper manufactures and printers. As soon as we walked in, we were instantly excited and inspired by the art of print design and paper products from over 30 vendor tables.

This year we were fortunate enough to be featured in Aldine Specialty Printing collection, which showcased impressive book designs and new binding techniques fresh off their digital press.

With tote bag in hand, we grabbed as much swag as we could carry. Below are some of our favorite takeaways from this years Expo.

We sampled everything from foil stamping to engraving, and letterpress to thermography examples.

This years expo proved once again that print is alive and well.
